This is an informative enjoyable photographic record of Ecclesall Road. Travel along one of Sheffield’s finest roads. Certain stretches are still very recognizable but others near the city centre have changed dramatically. This landscape book not only has many photos from the early 19th century but some as late as the 1980’s. It is lovely to be able to follow the route from Whirlow – seeing the changes along the way to the city centre. This excellently produced book with many unseen photographs will be enjoyed by many people who know Sheffield.
