Neil Duggan has always been interested in Old Sheffield and its history, which he has observed through 30 years on the beat in the city centre and suburbs.
In the last two years he has unleashed his passion for drawing and has combined this with his love of Old Sheffield to produce this superb book of his wonderful and immaculately observed drawings in pen and ink.
For those wanting to know more about the drawings he has added brief information about the history of each drawing.
To make the drawings more interesting still, he has hidden various things for the reader to find, such as cats and dogs, children skipping, playing marbles and whip and top. There is even a ghost.
